HTML mainly consist of two parts: the head part and the body part. The head part includes the URL, title, description while body part contains the content. Google first analyses the URL to get hint about the page. Then it proceeds to analyse the title, meta description and the content. Gaining a clear idea of that particular web page. The search engine results listed in Google is called Snippets, which consists of a favicon, title, URL and description.

(2) Meta description

A meta description is a brief summary of what a particular page is about. It is meant to give users an idea of the content and its relevance to their search query. The meta description tag must be included within the head section. It should be error free and unique, with character limitations. For a page, the character limit is 155 to 160, and for a blog post, it is 150. The pixel width of meta description is 1024. If Google finds the meta description inappropriate or irrelevant, it may use the h1 or h2 tag titles as the meta description. Avoid keyword repetition. Robots meta tag is used to instruct bot to crawl a web page and display its content.

<meta name="robots" content="index, follow"/>

(3Body Section Optimization

The main heading or h1 tag is the most important part of the body section. It should be free from spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. An h1 tag can contain 6 to 7 words. Only one h1 tag should be present; multiple h1 tags may lead to contradictions and page defect. If multiple h1 tags exist, crawlers may get confused and save these pages in a temporary database called the Sandbox.

Landing page: An SEO landing page is designed for a particular service or product. They have a high conversion rate compared with other forms of content. It is better to have only one h2 tag on a landing page. The h2 and h3 tag headlines should match the content of the page.
